Acabat el viatge, també s’acabava el curs, els pares estaven orgullosos del fill, ja que malgrat les dificultats havia aconseguit aprovar-ho tot, bé que <strong>a espentes i redolons</strong>. Amb dificultats i entrebancs.
En morir el pare, la filla gran va haver de començar a treballar i va tirar endavant la família a empentes i rodolons.
A empentes i rodolons, el diari es va publicar fins al 1994.
En valencià també es diu a espentes i a bacs (o ...i a redolons), a galtades i a espentons.
Etimologia
Rodoló (o redoló) només s’usa en plural en dues locucions: la que veiem avui i a rodolons, ‘rodolant’: Van anar a rodolons rostos avall. Ve de rodolar (o redolar) i, per tant, de roda, d’on també provenen rodal, redol, rodatge, arrodonir, rotació, rodalia i rodanxa.
Usos
A empentes i rodolons, arriben a la part de davant del vehicle. Aquests tres metres d’estrebades i esforços mal coordinats s’han convertit en una feinada. Miren d’acomodar el cadàver, que no col·labora en les manipulacions poc hàbils de tots dos, al seient del conductor. Un fil de sang, que ha deixat un rastre vermellós al paviment, com si un nen ratllés d’esma una línia amb un guix de color grana, està tacant la tapisseria.

La felicitat tenia data de caducitat. Acabat el viatge, també s’acabava el curs, els pares estaven orgullosos del fill, ja que malgrat les dificultats havia aconseguit aprovar-ho tot, bé que a espentes i redolons.
